Join us for an evening under the stars as we gather on 12 rolling acres of an historic working farm in east Mckinney. Together we will enjoy organic fare from local farmers and ranchers, signature cocktails crafted by Harvest mixologists, live music, a silent auction, and exciting raffle drawings!
The Purpose!
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION REIMAGINED
Waldessori Schoolhouse is a nonprofit hybrid school blending Waldorf and Montessori philosophies for 3-9 year old children. We have created a community for holistic minded families to raise their children the way they want, having the option to homeschool part time. Currently, we have set a goal to raise $40,000 to complete the next phase of the Waldessori Schoolhouse, expanding into our second building for the elementary children, creating a Waldorf inspired classroom in our original pre-k/kinder building, and developing an outdoor classroom, complete with a garden & play structures on an acre of land in Mickinney, TX.

K Bar K Meats started as the dream of Kent and Karen Black. The first cattle were purchased in 1986 as a small commercial herd. They have recently opened a new door that complements our cattle herd, our own K Bar K branded meat division. Their meat is natural, with no hormones, no preservatives and no antibiotics. They have recently opened a new door that complements our cattle herd, our own K Bar K branded meat division. Their meat is natural, with no hormones, no preservatives and no antibiotics. Their steers are never kept in a feedlot, but graze freely on pasture. They also offer pasture raised poultry.

Through the years, they have continued to add 5 to 10 acres per year, and now cultivate a wide variety on 50 acres of organically grown fruits and vegetables. The ultimate goal of the Reeves Family is to provide the freshest, best tasting and highest quality food you can find.

Brad and Kim Whitsell own the Whitsell Farms in Princeton, Texas. This 22-acre farm "specializes in onions and cantaloupe"but also have "a beautiful selection of small, tender okra" that you can find "at the McKinney Farmers Market". The onions were grown on raised beds so production was good despite all the spring rains. They also have other vegetables and also grows melons.
